Hyaluronic acid is a natural material found in our body. As we age, its amount decreases and wrinkles form on our skin. In our clinic, we work with TEOSYAL products. These are highly elastic gels made of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, sterile, of non-animal origin, intended for application to the skin. They are designed to fill wrinkles and folds, to adjust the oval of the face and lips. By applying hyaluronic acid by injection technique, selected areas of the face can be effectively removed, depending on the type of material used and individual indication, such as nasolabial folds (wrinkles extending from the root of the nose to the corners of the mouth) and also to remove wrinkles around the eyes or mouth.

The procedure is accompanied by minimal pain thanks to a layer of anesthetic cream that is applied to the treated area before the procedure. The duration of the procedure is 60 minutes. After the procedure, small swellings may occur, which can last for about 2 days, or bruises that heal within 7 days. The treatment does not require sick leave.
The effect after the treatment lasts for 6 to 18 months, depending on several factors, such as the client’s skin type and metabolism, the depth of the wrinkles and the amount injected. 72 hours after application it is not advisable to drink alcohol, do intense sports, travel by air and 15 days after application it is not recommended to expose yourself to the sun and temperatures below 0°C. It is not recommended to stay in the sauna and undergo dental treatments.
Hyaluronic acid fillers are suitable for women and men from 18 years of age.
The procedure for lip augmentation or correction lasts 40-60 minutes and is not very painful thanks to a layer of anesthetic cream that is always applied to the treated area before the procedure. After the treatment, small bruises and swelling may occur, which can last 1-5 days, but does not require any period of incapacity for work. The resulting effect lasts for several months and its duration depends on the type of filler, metabolism, and the amount of material applied. Usually 6-12 months.
