Prevention<\/h3>\n

The primary prevention of skin cancer is protection from UV rays (in the sun and in tanning beds).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Early diagnosis<\/h3>\n

Every person should check their skin changes at home at least once every 3 months (self test, partner test). If you suspect an irregularity, you should see a dermatologist. Otherwise, it is recommended to come for a preventive examination once a year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How to prevent sunburn in the summer months?<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • do not expose yourself to the sun between 11 am and 3 pm<\/li>\n
  • do not let your skin turn red in the sun, no direct sun<\/li>\n
  • look for shady places, protect yourself with clothing,<\/li>\n
  • children under 12 months should not be exposed to sunlight at all<\/li>\n
  • choose sunscreen according to skin type<\/li>\n
  • choose a product with UVA+UVB filter<\/li>\n
  • protect your eyes with glasses with UV filter, on vacation slow and gradual tanning without burning, start with a higher factor<\/li>\n
  • think about the increased radiation in the mountains, by the sea and in the snow<\/li>\n
  • water is not a sufficient UV filter, use UV protection even when diving and swimming<\/li>\n
